Antonio Cardona is a researcher in hydrogeology and water resources with a sound background in the fields of hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry and statistical analysis of hydrogeological data. He has over 25 years of research experience on the relation of groundwater flow systems theory with the groundwater chemistry evolution along local, intermediate and regional flow systems and the origin, transport, and fate of inorganic contaminants in groundwater systems. Antonio has substantial experience with problems related to the naturally occurrence of fluoride, arsenic, heavy metals, radionuclides and groundwater age-dating.
