Trinh is a researcher and lecturer on water resources management and water quality modeling at Vietnam Academy for Water Resources, Hanoi, Vietnam. He has been with the Academy since 2014 after a period of Ph.D. study and research fellow at the University of Michigan. His current research interests include water resources system analysis towards equitable water allocation among sectors, water quality modeling for waste load allocation and management, environmental flow and salinity intrusion. In addition, He is also interested in exploring the use of advances in data science for the coupling of vastly available remote sensing data, other smart information and communication data with traditional hydro-met and basin data system to offer insights for decision makers and end users in water resources issues.
