Short Bio

Aaron Firoz is Head of the Hydro-Climate, Mechatronic & Remotesensing unit of the Observatory for Climate and Environment Platform (OCE) at the Environmental Research and Innovation Department (ERIN) of LIST. He is specialized in water resources management in particular quantifying the water resources through different modeling activities (surface, ground water and their coupling). His research is further extending towards coupling Remote Sensing and In-Situ based field measurement (mostly low-cost environmental sensor development, deployment and management) and validating remote sensing information for different research projects. His primary teaching field is Environmental Monitoring and Data Management, GIS, Hydrological and Groundwater Modelling
