Short Bio

Mahsa Motlagh is a researcher, lecturer and project coordinator in water resources governance, hydro-diplomacy and decision support system at the Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ITT), Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Holding a PhD in transboundary water management and a background in hydro-politics and socio-economics, she has specialized in the use of diplomacy as a trans-disciplinary tool to resolve natural resources and environmental disputes, sustainable development, multi-stakeholder process, integrative approaches for risk reduction actions, and resilience-building strategies by contributing to design and implementation of research-based approaches.
