Addressing the interlinked challenges of water, food, and energy security requires more than innovation—it demands effective dissemination and strategic upscaling of solutions that work. This panel session brings together experts to explore pathways for scaling up sustainable practices that balance resource use across the Water-Food-Energy nexus. Panelists will share successful case studies from diverse regions, highlighting technologies and practices as well as integrated resource planning. The session will examine enabling conditions for adoption, including policy frameworks, community engagement, financing mechanisms, and knowledge-sharing platforms. Key questions will include: What makes an innovation scalable in complex socio-ecological systems? How can we ensure equitable access to innovations? What role do local knowledge, digital tools, and institutional partnerships play in upscaling efforts? Through dynamic discussion and audience engagement, this session aims to generate actionable insights for researchers, policymakers, and development practitioners committed to accelerating the transition to resilient, resource-efficient agro-ecosystems.
