Angela Million is Professor of Urban Design and Urban Development and director of the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning and director of the DAAD-Global Center of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability SMUS at TU Berlin, Germany. Her research focuses on participatory urban design multifunctionality in infrastructures, with a special interest in cities as educational settings, children and youth. Her most recent research explores the change and relevance of spatial methods and spatial knowledge for urban development, latter within the collaborative research centre CRC 1265 “Re-Figuration of Spaces.
