Heinrich Hagel is an agricultural economist holding a PhD in agricultural sciences from University of Hohenheim. His research interests cover qualitative and quantitative research methods and include, among others, econometrics, farm level optimization models and participatory rural appraisal. Heinrich’s fields of expertise also cover food and nutrition security and agricultural policy. From 2016 until 2019 he worked at the Food Security Center of the University of Hohenheim (FSC) as scholarship and project coordinator. Since 2020, he is coordinator of the FSC.
